Municipal Cultural Policy

The 2007-2012 Community Strategic Plan of the Municipality of Shippagan sets out the importance of developing a cultural and artistic policy in the local area. This cultural policy was developed in consultation with key local figures and citizens interested in our community's cultural life. Founded on principles of sustainable development, the policy must be compatible with initiatives undertaken in any of the municipality's various activity areas. This policy belongs to the entire community, from which its meaning is also derived.
