The Commission Industrielle et Commerciale du Grand-Shippagan Inc.
The Commission Industrielle et Commerciale du Grand-Shippagan Inc. is a non-profit agency incorporated under the New Brunswick Companies Act since 1998. The Commission serves as an exchange for member individuals and organizations from Shippagan and the surrounding area. The Commission’s goal is to assess and promote needs and opportunities for industrial development for the entire designated area and to provide the physical space for creating support infrastructure out of a zone reserved exclusively for that purpose.
The Commission essentially aims to initiate the construction phase of new business projects in order to consolidate and develop existing economic assets while diversifying economic activity in Shippagan and the surrounding area, all with a view to providing work to local people.
